I've been a fond lover of manga and anime for awhile now, and you know when you are busy for a significant period of time and just want to unwind a little you ask some of your friends who have been keeping up what manga/anime to watch/read!
I was introduced to Haikyuu!! a manga/anime based off Volleybay in Japan. For those who watch Slam Dunk, Dear Boys, Hajime no Ippo etc. this is one that you should read/watch if you haven't heard about it just like me.
Such genre of anime/manga is really great for inspiring and reminding people. I for one have been reminded after watching Haikyuu!! To set the tone, I'm the type of person that will become teary and emotional when watching dramas/shows/anime, especially if it connects deeply with me. Watching Hinata is brought me back to the days when I really loved basketball but unfortunately, I'm only 167cm tall currently, and before age of 15, I was actually below 140cm at certain points in my life. I never let my height stopped me from playing and practicing hard on jumping alot such that you can sometimes even get rebounds for people that are 1.8m tall with read on timing and positioning. Even though I never joined competitive basketball back in my primary, secondary and junior college days, I played alot of basketball with my brother and friends in the past and really enjoyed it. Haikyuu!! reminded me of the drive, passion and energy I had for things I enjoyed doing in the past. This mentality was what drove me to always give all I had for anything I've decided to do in my life.
A few months back, I met a friend whom I've met due to dragon nest (past guildmate) over dinner and he told me that he felt that I no longer seen to have the same passion, drive and energy compared to the past when I first started making videos and guide for Dragon Nest. During that conversation, I kinda didn't agree since I was indeed doing my best for a period of close to 4 years now. Watching Haikyuu!! however, reminded me that perhaps I didn't really dig deep enough, perhaps I haven't truly really had the same drive, energy and passion I had when I first started.
Perhaps I don't have that same desire.
So... from today onwards, I will constantly remind myself to give my very best in my videos, my stream and anything that I do. Should you sense that I've seen to have fallen off, feel free to remind me, and I'll greatly appreciate and thank you for that.
My Life's principle is to have no regrets. I guess I've forgotten a part of it and I need to find it back.
As always I hope you enjoyed the read.
Cheers,
AikawaKazu
